Todd First ride on my new Ducati Monster 1100S: wow… So this is what a motorcycle is supposed to be like. Long way from my last bike (1984 BMW R65LS) or the one before it (BMW R1100S… not sure what it is with 1100S’s…) It does not so much ‘ride’ as ‘fly’ or ‘glide’… Feels like snowboarding in powder… No idea what I’ll ever need 5th or 6th gears for though! :).
